I've woken this morning with feelings of extreme gratitude. Free flowing tears and talking to myself type intensity. I've been attempting to write it down, to try to capture this emotion, understand it, describe it and share it with others. It seems my brain is on overdrive at the moment, and my prose not as free flowing as I'd like it to be. However this quote I absorbed this morning may proffer some description of how I'm feeling, and perhaps go to understand why the words might escape me now.
"You cannot understand life and its mysteries as long as you try to grasp it. Indeed, you cannot grasp it, just as you cannot walk off with a river in a bucket.
If you try to capture the running water in a bucket, it is clear that you do not understand it and that you will always be disappointed, for in the bucket the water does not run. To 'have' running water you must let go of it and let it run."
