About Ukulele Tuesday
a free ukulele play-along!
Who are we?
Every Tuesday at 8pm, upstairs in the Stag's Head, in the heart of Dublin City, a curious ritual unfolds: the bar fills up to the brim with ukulele players, who all join in to play pop tunes in a giant singalong.
Think of it like a trad session, but with ukuleles instead of fiddles, and Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus instead of jigs.
Why support us?
Ukulele Tuesday is entirely volunteer-ran. We do it during our free time because we love playing music with you, and everyone who comes along. It's a free event and we like it that way because we find it funny to shove a ukulele in the hands of some unsuspecting strangers and make them sing wacky tunes with us all.
If you find that funny too, consider supporting us with a donation.
What will we use your money for?
To buy a kazoo for every single living being on this planet, obviously. Apart from that, it'll help cover our expenses, such as purchases and maintenance for house ukes or other audio equipment, and buying food/decorations for our special nights, like Halloween, Pride, Christmas or Women's Day.
