As Pandemic Drags On, Trudeau Seeks “Final Solution to the Unvaccinated Question”, Looks t

Jan 29, 2022

OTTAWA, ON-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been working tirelessly to bring the pandemic to an end. His government rolled out life-saving vaccines, purchased enough vaccines for every Canadian to have a weekly booster for the next 50 years, and mandated proof of vaccination for every activity requiring two or more persons.

But even with close to 90% uptake, the pandemic rages on, he says, because of the unvaccinated.

"It's clear that the unvaccinated are continuing to put the vaccinated at risk," he said.

"We know that Covid-19 can only spread from an unvaccinated person to a vaccinated person. But it's also unfortunately true that vaccinated people can both catch and spread the virus to other vaccinated people.

"But it's also true that vaccinated people are no threat to anyone because of the protection from the life-saving vaccines. It's clear that if vaccinated people continue to infect other vaccinated people it's entirely because of the unvaccinated," Trudeau said, closing his circle of logic.

"The unvaccinated are selfishly trying to protect themselves by not getting vaccinated, while the vast majority of Canadians are putting the safety of others first by doing the right thing and getting vaccinated.

"We're all tired, but we've accomplished so much, and we are at a critical juncture in this pandemic."

With every juncture a critical one, and with options running out, the Prime Minister decided to hit the history books, looking for any inspiration he could find to help him solve the unvaccinated problem for good.

At this stage, he said, he was open to anything.

"We're currently looking at a number of options. Germany had some interesting ideas, when they implemented a final solution for a slightly different but related question. We're exploring a similar 'made in Canada' final solution to deal with the unvaccinated question and finally get us out of this pandemic."
