I’m launching Two Euros Home, a simple idea with a serious intention: small contributions, shared by many, can help create a more stable and healthier life.
I’m 34 and I hold a PhD. I live with an autoimmune disease, and through lived experience I know that a coastal environment — salt air, sunlight, and a slower rhythm — makes a real, measurable difference to my health. In such conditions, my symptoms often ease, sometimes to the point where I don’t need medication.
Despite my education and work, I’m currently not credit-eligible. So instead of asking a few people for a lot, I’m asking many people for a little — €2, if you feel like it. No rewards. No expectations. Just voluntary support.
This page isn’t only about financial support.
Each week, I’ll share a short excerpt from my life story and from a monograph I’m currently writing. The monograph explores internalized homophobia and minority stress, and how long-term exposure to these psychological and social pressures can negatively affect physical health — including autoimmune conditions. This is not only theoretical for me; it is something I have lived and continue to live with.
You don’t need to donate to read or follow along.
If you choose to support this project, thank you — you’re helping me move toward a life that is not only more stable, but also more sustainable for my health.
Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
