As promised, this is an update on why I haven't posted as much recently. Trust me, it isn't alarming or upsetting or a big deal, just a lack of proper planning.
In March I set out to crochet a granny-square lap blanket as a 1-year anniversary gift for some close friends. I thought I could finish it by September, as that is when their anniversary is. However, due to life getting in the way, I wasn't able to complete it in the timeframe I gave myself, and when August crept up; I found myself nowhere near done. For the last month and a half, I've been working to complete this, and finally have. Hopefully, I will go back to the planned schedule with some tweaks to fit this postponement.
