About Turtle Island
All proceeds to be donated to Parkinson's Boxing
We are West-Central Ohio band, Turtle Island. We recently released a new rock single called “Fourteen Stairs Down”.
This song is a collaboration with Parkinson’s Boxing, a gym located in Buffalo NY that specializes in rehabilitation of people with Parkinson’s thru a boxing focused program. The lyrics were written by the gym founder/owner, Dean Eoannou.
We wrote and recorded this song as a surprise for Dean. The song is about the battle with Parkinson’s, and is a hopeful shout to never give up the fight. Our mission is to highlight the success of the gym, and to spread awareness of Parkinson’s Disease.
This page is a donation location for the song, all proceeds collected from 5/17/24 until 10/1/24 will go to Parkinson’s Boxing. Please consider donating to support both our band and the mission of Dean and his team.
