Firstly, thank you to everyone that's supported so far, it is genuinely very appreciated!
I thought I'd try a post here about a couple major additions to the scanner over the past 48 hours. This may or may not be the new norm, we'll see.
1) You can now paste in either a Coles or Woolies URL and it will pull up the details available for that product. Due to the T&Cs of both sites, I am not able to scrape either site, and the way the scanner works, without a bar code I cannot get the product name. As long as you copy and paste the entire URL into the search bar though, you will know you have the correct product. For the same T&Cs/way it works, the URL can only pull up the data from that site so Coles data for a Coles URL and Woolies data for a Woolies URL.
2) There is now a shopping list! Whenever you're on a product page, if you click the "Add Current Item to Shopping List" button it will do exactly that. You don't have to choose which store, it adds it for both. When you've finished adding items to your list, click "View My Shopping List" and you will see 3 options: "Coles Basket", "Woolworths Basket", and "Cheapest Mix". The first two show the available items/prices from Coles and Woolworths respectively, but the third automatically selects the cheapest of each item from either store to save you the most money. You can choose to display this list by the order you added each item, or by shop, so if you are going from one to the other, it makes it clear what you're getting from both.
