As I look back on 2024, I can’t help but marvel at the whirlwind of interests, projects, and accomplishments that defined this year. Living with ADHD has certainly kept life dynamic, with highs and lows as I’ve shifted focus between different passions and ideas. This recap aims to capture the essence of my journey, from sysadmin to art, Ethical Hacking, and beyond.

Kicking Off the Year with Sysadmin and Content Creation
The year began with a focus on advancing my career as a sysadmin. I also created my Buy Me a Coffee (BMC) page to share my personal story and connect with like-minded individuals. Technology has always been a foundation for me, and it felt natural to start 2024 by building on my existing expertise.

I launched several websites this year:
TrueJourney ADHD — A space to explore life with ADHD.
TempCoder Tech — Dedicated to sysadmin tips and technical tutorials.
TempHack — Focused on Ethical Hacking and security insights.
Exploring Digital Art and Content Creation
As the year unfolded, a spark of creativity led me to embrace drawing and digital art. I started posting on platforms like YouTube and TikTok to document my artistic journey, aiming to inspire others to start their own creative paths. My art journey began with simple sketches and evolved into experimenting with styles like one-line art and digital timelapse videos.

Notable milestones in this journey included:
Launching Krikas Art on YouTube, featuring shorts like “Art Journey: A Sketch a Day.”
Learning the basics of digital tools like Krita.
Creating motivating and engaging content for beginners in art.
Shifting Gears to Ethical Hacking and Bug Bounty Hunting
Mid-year, my focus pivoted toward Ethical Hacking and Bug Bounty Hunting. With over 10 years of sysadmin experience, it felt like the right time to leverage my skills for cybersecurity. This transition involved diving deep into platforms like TryHackMe and Hack The Box, alongside structured certifications such as:

Practical Junior Penetration Tester (PJPT)
Practical Web Pentest Associate (PWPA)
Practical Network Penetration Tester
Building an Ethical Hacking Lab at home was another key milestone, albeit a gradual process due to financial constraints. I also planned to create my own tools for network communication and hacking, learning Python and Go along the way.
The Brief Game Development Chapter
For a while, I explored game development with Lua scripting and Solar2D Studio. The plan was structured around progressing through Beginner, Junior, and Senior levels before eventually moving to the Godot Engine. However, as my interest in game dev waned, I chose to prioritize Ethical Hacking instead, marking another shift in my ADHD-fueled journey.

Content Creation Across Platforms
Throughout 2024, I managed multiple social media accounts and groups, including:
Three Twitter accounts
Two Facebook groups
YouTube channels for tech and art
I consistently published content on YouTube, TikTok, and my blogs, sharing knowledge about sysadmin tasks, Bash scripting, and PowerShell tips while documenting my learning experiences in both art and Ethical Hacking.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The coming year will be defined by two major goals:
Becoming a Bug Bounty Hunter: My aim is to make a mark on leaderboards and contribute to cybersecurity while honing my skills further.
Advancing in Art: I’ll continue to refine my artistic abilities, transitioning from simple sketches to more complex, artistic creations.
Additionally, I plan to regularly update my BMC page with progress reports, sharing both successes and challenges. The year ahead will be a testament to persistence, creativity, and focus—despite the ever-present swings of ADHD.
Final Thoughts
2024 has been a year of exploration, growth, and transformation. Whether it’s been about embracing creativity, diving into the depths of cybersecurity, or juggling multiple platforms, I’ve learned that passion and adaptability can coexist beautifully. Here’s to 2025, a year to turn dreams into reality and continue thriving on this vibrant journey.
Thank you for following along, and I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you!
