About Troy Barile
Investigative Systems Journalist, SA Survivor, and Survivor Advocate
I’m Troy Barile, the journalist behind The Living Library and What About the Boys, two independent investigative publications that I keep free to read.
At The Living Library, I investigate the documentary record surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and the people and institutions connected to their cases.
My work follows financial relationships, official decisions and source records that readers can examine for themselves.
At What About the Boys, I investigate sexual abuse involving boys and men, including the warnings received by institutions and what happened to survivors afterward.
I lost income that previously helped pay for this reporting, but I’ve continued publishing. Reader contributions help cover obtaining records, research tools and the cost of maintaining both publications.
If you can contribute $5 once, or another amount that works for you, I’d appreciate your support. The reporting remains free whether you contribute or not.
I am also developing the separate What About the Boys Foundation in Nevada. It is not yet incorporated and is not accepting donations. Contributions through this page support my independent journalism across both publications.
These payments are reader support for independent journalism and are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
