Hello Friends <3

Marrakech you BEAUTIFUL city 🧡
If you ever plan to visit this part of Morocco 👇🏼
You’ll need these tips!

🌵A CITY CLOSE TO EVERYTHING: Marrakech is the capital of the mid-southwestern region of Marrakesh-Safi. It is west of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Within 2 hours you can make a hike in the mountains, go for a swim at the beach, visit one of the biggest waterfalls in Africa or be in the desert 🐪

🌵DURATION OF STAY: I recommend a minimum of 3/4 nights but there’s stuff to discover for months.

🌵 WHERE TO STAY: In Marrakech there are a lot of different Area’s.
You have the Médina in the old city with a lot of beautiful riads. A Riad is a traditional Moroccan house with a garden on the inside
Hivernage housing mainly the large international Hotels of Marrakech, Gueliz The new city” in Marrakech. Gueliz has nice, modern Café’s (plenty to choose from) to enjoy, Palmaraie is outside of Marrakech city and really is a beautiful and ideal area for you to experience absolutely gorgeous hotels with large grounds and facilities. Agdal is another suburb, but a newer part of town, and home to medium to large and mainly independent Riad’s.

🌵LANGUAGE: the most people speak Darija and French. Some people do speak English but not everyone.

🌵FOOD: The Moroccan food is absolutely amazing with a lot of spices. Morocco produces a large range of Mediterranean fruits, vegetables and even some tropical ones. Common meats include beef, goat, lamb, chicken and seafood, which serve as a base for the cuisine. Fridays are for Couscous.
