After all the adventures we’ve had together, this one might be the most exciting. We dreamed of fixing up a cabin in the mountains for a long time, and now it’s happening with Gavin's brother and mom, Trevor and Dina. 🤍 We have 2 acres, a wood-burning stove, and a lot of major renovations to be made at our cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado near Colorado Springs. So far, we've dealt with a collapsing ceiling, lots of leaking, and some of the weirdest existing designs in the house, but, hey, it's got character. We'll be replacing the roof, all of the pipes, and a big part of the foundation. Of course, we'll also be upgrading the look (because the popcorn walls and brick wallpaper are not working for us...), and we've already been able to put new floors in the majority of the house.
To answer a few common questions, we still consider ourselves nomads, as we will be sharing this house. @travelworldculture is still our number one priority, and we will continue to work on TWC remotely and travel at least over 75% or more of the year. Lastly, we did not adopt a dog - we’re dog sitting!
