Since I was little I have always had a passion for making things, being active and playing outdoors. As a young adult I worked as a creative director for my father making websites, logos and producing videos. My my 30's I discovered my love for mountain biking and eventually trail running.
Unfortunately, with the advancement of technology, and DIY websites, my work started to decrease. I began feeling like a dinosaur in my field. So with the support of my wife and friends I decided to start Trail Sage channel.
Having a YouTube channel allows me to use the skills I required over my 20 year career in multimedia and apply them to making content. I am not a professional mountain biker or trail runner, but I love sharing my passion for both activities with other folks. And while I find myself working harder than I ever have, it has also brought me a great sense of fulfillment back into my life.
