Twas writ and the mistakes
did leap from the page.
How for goodness sakes?
Oh, how that made you rage.
Beware the spellchecker my friend.
The essential writer’s tool
to correct the words you penned.
Instead, it makes you look a fool.
There their you know which to select.
Your and you’re are easy to choose.
But you should have checked,
now your words confuse
To your eternal shame
you wrote lead not led.
There is no one else to blame
So now your face is red.
One, two, three, four,
errors on the page unchecked,
worse there could be more.
Your artful prose is wrecked.
Beware the spellchecker my friend
It doesn’t know what you mean
It cannot judge what you penned,
They are both right, bean or been.
Twas writ and the mistakes
did leap from the page.
How for goodness sakes?
Oh, how that made you rage.
