This is my current collaboration with Melville Metalworks, an incredibly small, incredibly old-school foundry presently operating on an historical foundry grounds in the [until the 21st-Century] industrial Northeast USA. As BFFs and creative compatriots, they taught me what is required to design foundry-patterns, and I immediately adapted what I learned to 3D-printing. At the moment, I just need better curtain-rod holders than I can even find, let alone buy.
Toss me a coffee to help us HAND CAST a fair-sized pilot-run of these to sell. I always need consumable materials like 3D-printer filament, propane for the use of my pals' furnace, and ingots. Bronze is, like, $7 per pound, and ingots are 40lbs each; fortunately, I just prefer "353" nigh-indestructible aluminum, at ~$3/lb in 40lb ingots. 😵💫 THAT'S why all the normal, everyday wares people can buy nowadays are just rolled, spun, or stamped sheet-metal that's approximately the same, thin gauge as a tuna can.
Hopefully I can update this post with more photos as this project develops. 🤔 My window has no curtains, and with no curtains, I can't rest! 🤪
