I sat on the concept of tofu kitten club for years. I used to have this friend named Dave who had this inspiration board in his apartment. He was all about making your own money owning or starting your own business. He definitely inspired me to do something with my ideas. We used to talk about tofu cooking club all the time and how great of an idea and name it was.

Nothing can break up a friendship like racism. Haha. Though he would never tell me to my face that he's racist his views are very bigoted. One summer I had my computer out and the events of Charlottesville were unwinding. He's watching the footage on his phone I'm seeing something similar on mine He goes off on his theories and what he thinks is happening. A defender of the things 45 says, always has something to say about the BLM movement.. I was just honored that I was able to inspire veganism into his life. The world could always use compassionate people.

I never forget the day I first sketched out what my logo would look like on a napkin in Dave's apartment. Here is the evolution of the tofu kitten.
My perspective was off. I wasn't sure how to capture texture. I just wanted it to look cute. Is it supposed to look like tofu???
