If you've been following our mountain adventures, you know there is truly never a dull moment around here. Between dodging relentless summer thunderstorms and trying to keep up with the garden, we recently had a cute little bear cub wander right up onto our porch! After taking a few safety precautions (and getting our ears rung by a safety horn), we fled to the potting shed to get some work done.
We turned the stormy afternoon into a full-blown plant propagation experiment, setting up a mini factory of hydrangea cuttings using seed-starting soil, perlite, and humidity domes. Once the weather cleared, we headed back out to rearrange the porch, show off a soothing DIY copper water feature, test out a questionable Pine-Sol bear remedy, and celebrate a huge milestone that we still can't quite believe: we officially hit 20,000 subscribers!
We couldn't do any of this without your incredible support, encouragement, and love for our little mountain journey. If you enjoyed this week's chaos and want to throw a coffee (or a plant!) into the mix, hit the button to help keep our project momentum going!
