Today I decided to share my ideas and my activities for this year, basically I'm working on a bigger project that is life-changing and beneficial for the community.
This project is about the home management and home automation system,
This project is going to be involved in both software development and hardware engineering.
The hardware is already working properly so the biggest challenge right now (when working on hardware-software project) is i don't have a cloud server to actually host and run this software.
The web application is still under development while the hardware needs to be worked on a little bit, but the limitation turns out to be limited capital.
The prototype is running on an esp8266 NodeMCU development board, but we need money to move it to raspberry pi 5. because it is more powerful to handle nowadays AI based systems.
This kind of device will operate sensors and actuators that will send data online and this data will be processed on the server which makes it ideal to use raspberry pi 5 to achieve the following.
- Faster.
- Efficient.
- Real time.
- Accessible and reliable response.
