After having waited several weeks for my cassock and surplice to arrive, I was finally able to wear them in our Advent Sunday celebrations at Emmanuel Church, Morecambe. What an honour to once again be correctly adorned for worship in my vestments. Due to vestments being handmade to order, they can take some time to arrive!
We had a fantastic worship service, some powerful Advent hymns, and a joyous fellowship afterwards at our bring and share lunch at which we ate to our hearts content thanks to the generosity and cooking skills of our congregation. Many of us stayed until nearly 15:00!
