It’s been a while..

It’s been a while..

Dec 03, 2024

It’s been over 3 years since I last posted on here, but as the year winds up and I am ever-so-close to finishing my music degree, I think it’s important to stay connected with my followers and patrons who have supported me during my studies, and whom I owe much gratitude!

I have just completed my final recital examination at the University of Melbourne’s Conservatorium of Music. I’m very grateful to all the amazing faculty staff who have mentored and trained me throughout these 3 years - especially my wonderful teacher - Associate Professor Jerry Wong. I am also thankful for all who have attended and supported my performances - whether for St Matthew’s Albury Tunes on Tuesday recitals, or other performances in both Melbourne and Albury. Many of these recitals were organised and managed by James Flores (Australia’s favourite organist) - who also edited many of my videos and helped me grow this channel over the years. Additionally, I cannot thank enough my girlfriend, Aylish, for always inspiring me to perform and push myself through studies in the best and worst of times. Finally, I want to thank my audience online and abroad, who have supported me by sharing my content from YouTube, sending supportive comments and messages, and for those who have “bought me a coffee”!

I’m not one for words often (I’m much more comfortable on the ivories 🎹) but I hope the message from this comes across well enough. Thank you!

To finish, I’ve shared my newly uploaded video - the final piece from my final university recital - Prokofiev’s “Suggestion Diabolique”. It’s a roller coaster of a piece to play but I absolutely love it!

I thoroughly hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to sharing more content with you in the future.
