Hi! My name is Lisa N. Alexander. I am a content creator, storyteller, filmmaker, and This Woman Knows Media Company owner.
In 2015, I created a video called, "She Said What?!" It was a message I was passionate about sharing and produced it. I wrote the script, hired a videographer, recruited a few friends, found a location, hired a stylist, and released it to the world!
And the rest is history.
My life as an online content creator and storyteller officially began.
Since then, I've directed and produced two award-winning documentaries for my nonprofit clients, "What Mercy Looks Like," and "Just One." I made another documentary called "The Spiral" and have written my first feature film, "My Father, The Queen."
The film is loosely based on my own experience—growing up the daughter of a closeted gay man and the trauma the whole family endures. The film also depicts the healing journey, and normalizing therapy for communities of color.
