Remember that friendly smile that greets you every time you open Finder on macOS? I spent quite some time recreating it in 3D as a two-part functional vase.
Printed in Polymaker PLA (blue + cotton white), it captures the iconic look perfectly. The technical challenge was interesting: making both pieces fit together seamlessly, managing overhangs with organic supports, and ensuring it's watertight with 4-5 perimeters.
The .3MF file is available on Printables with all supports pre-configured. Takes about 8-10 hours to print but the result is worth it.
