Robinhood Launches the Platinum Card
Robinhood has officially entered the premium credit card market with the Robinhood Platinum Card, a $695 annual fee card aimed at competing with other high-end travel cards.

Bottom Line
The Robinhood Platinum Card is clearly built around the premium credit card “coupon book” strategy — a long list of credits that can offset the $695 annual fee if you use them all.
However, the earning rates are actually pretty strong for a cashback setup:
5% on dining
5% on flights
10% on hotels and car rentals (through Robinhood Travel)
Those are solid multipliers, especially for people who prefer simple cashback over points. If cashback is your goal, this could actually be a pretty solid starter premium cashback card.
That said, my take is that if you're already spending the time optimizing categories and tracking credits, you might as well take the next step into points and miles, where the potential value can often be much higher.
Still, the launch shows Robinhood continuing its push toward becoming a full financial ecosystem — investing, banking, and now premium credit cards.
