A Month of Photos.

Aug 05, 2024

The past 4 weeks have flown by. Faye and I have been on the road, travelling thru Washington State (twice in two separate trips of late), Idaho and Oregon, in the search for •rocks• for my business The Stone Traveller.

Last week Faye was hurt in an accident and ended up in emergency surgery to repair a wound to her leg. She is on Antibiotics for 2 weeks, and painkillers/anti-inflammatories for 12 days. I am supposed to remove her bandages this evening, it will be the first time I’ve seen her injury since it happened. Fingers Crossed.

I will be stateside, gathering materials for the fall season, for another 3 weeks. When I cross back into Canada, I hope to be able to replace my fridge which (as described in a previous post) tried to poison Faye and I with an ammonia leak. 🤢😵

The past month hasn’t been all drastic. There has been much beauty, fun, and laughter. I will let my photos tell of some of those moments.

Enjoy 🐾❤️‍🩹☕️

I would like to add.

Due to poor body image, I haven’t owned swimsuit since the mid 1980s. Yes, almost 40 years. As Faye enjoys being in the water, and needs occasional reassurance, I decided this year to “buck up” and wear swimwear. This is me. 59. And deciding to embrace myself. Big Breath.

And finally, Faye, now. Her medications make her tired, and she has been sleeping a lot for the past 4 days.
