Generic Employee AI Usage Policy

Anyone who wishes to use this generic Employee AI Usage policy for their institution may do so. You may use and change this policy however it fits best for your given institution. It was written specifically with public libraries in mind, since, from my research, public libraries are the ones who tend to not have any policies in place (which has not been as big of a problem in academic libraries or school libraries, though I am sure there are still some issues there).
If you are using this policy for a public library, there will have to be other policies that will need to probably be updated, such as the the collection policy (to make policies surrounding the addition of AI generated movies, music, books, to the collection) and the patron code of ethics (to make policies surrounding prohibiting scraping data from databases, address AI glasses that can record people, etc.). Hopefully this generic Employee AI Usage policy helps with wording in those policies too.
