You thought you had power over me. I gave you a few little letters all lined up in a row, and you actually thought that gave you power over me. A few nothing letters I haven't responded to willingly in years. And you thought they could control me. Haha, you really are a special kind of pathetic, aren't you?
I've had more names than the moon has had deities named after her, and you really thought knowledge of one, one I didn't even pick, gave you dominion over me.
Did you feel big and powerful every time you uttered it? Did you think I'd bat my eyes and my heart would go all a-flutter? Did you think that I was somehow a fairy tale imp that would do your bidding simply because you knew my name?
Calling someone by name doesn't give you power over them, but it does make those like me stronger as we laugh and blow smoke on your face. To bring someone like me down to your level, you'll have to dig a lot deeper than a simple name.
