Working in a marketplace there is a walkway on either floor and each side of the walkway is everyone's unit/s. Mine being Unit 1-2 must obviously be the best. But people are allowed to bring dogs in too and those of us wise enough have cottoned on to the fact that if customers come with their dogs the best thing is to entertain the dogs too which I do with a big water bowl at the entrance and I might have box of treats hidden behind my counter too.
This helps because if you can seem dog friendly your halfway there with the customer already. Also my dog also comes along most day too and she's a blonde Labrador called Mary or her 'street' name is Mary the Marketdog, check her out on Instagram. But I've noticed lately there seems to be an awful lot of Dachshunds black, brown and fluffy ones, there a lovely little dog and quiet natured. Although we do have one that visits one of the other units called Marvin, he's a mouthy little wotsit.
