Sometimes people will hear a story and think, "I don't believe that happened."
There's a whole subreddit dedicated to the idea that some people exaggerate or make up stories for fake Internet points. But that same subreddit is full of people who simply haven't experienced the world enough to know that some things can and do happen, even if you personally don't believe it to be true.
Sometimes in elementary school, I would tell a teacher or another student about a thing that happened to me. I was met with disbelief and oftentimes ridicule. The reverse of that is I would learn something at school, either the teacher would tell me or they would show a video, and when I reported on what I learned at home I would be told what I learned was not true (Great way to give your kid mixed messages by the way).
So this category of videos is dedicated to documentary style videos where I try to offer some visual evidence of past claims. Obviously that isn't always possible, especially if I'm reporting on something that happened long ago. But the general idea is that people who remember the event will be able to come forward and confirm my story.
It puts me at risk of being called a "Karen", especially when I post videos like this:
But sometimes, there's nothing you can do about someone else's opinion of you. So you can hide in fear of the world not liking you, or you can take whatever rewards the risk might offer you. Even if the reward is simply telling the truth of a situation.
