Never be afraid to admit what you truly want

May 16, 2024

Today I was trying to figure out what to do about a business decision. I had two direct sales companies that I really enjoy products from. One I have been a consultant for a few years now, and to be honest wasn't sure how I felt about changes that were taking place in the company.

The other I had recently joined because I loved hair products I had trued from them. And a good friend was/is a consultant, so I decided to give it a try. The new company has a policy that states you cannot be a member of a competing company. Both companies have skincare and cosmetics, so even though I joined the new company for hair care products, in order to be a consultant, I would have to completely leave the other company. I took a couple of weeks to think over my decision and realized the only reason keeping me from stepping away from the second company, was my friend who I joined under. I was afraid I would disappoint her if I canceled the agreement and my consultant website.

After some thought and journaling, I knew my heart wasn't in the second company, so I messaged her and told her. She wasn't mad at all and wished me luck. I actually shared post about product sales from the original company today on social media, and it felt good.

To often we let fear of disappointing friends and family keep us from speaking our truth and admitting what we really want to do. That keeps us blocked from all of the joy and success that is truly meant for us. And for those of us who enjoy working with divine energy, it lowers our vibrations as well. So I share this with you to remind you always be true to your heart and your desires, even if it means making a less popular decision.
