The August full moon was also a partial lunar eclipse, which was very exciting and I got the painting done in record time...but it was just before carnival, and thus I clean forgot to pop it on here!
I'm terrible, I know.
Anyway, I was extremely lucky that the sky was clear (especially as I got up at 4am to catch this view) and I got a cracking reference from which to work.
It was also a blood moon - honestly I was spoilt rotten this month, such a pretty subject! Four more full moons to go this year, I hope you're still enjoying them as much as I am!
