Hi! Today (26 March 2020), we are launching 2 new websites called www.barnstapledelivers.co.uk and www.totnesdelivers.co.uk in order to help the Barnstaple and Totnes communities during the COVID-19 crisis.
People are stuck at home, businesses are struggling with shop closures, but people still need those businesses now more than ever.
So, we have created these websites to help businesses, who are able to deliver their goods to their customers' homes, so that we can all eat (!) and get what we need to survive and thrive in self-isolation. Who knows how long this will go on, right? So now is the time to look after each other.
We are now encouraging all relevant businesses to list themselves on the website by filling out a simple form. This central resource is vital for people at home who need to know who they can turn to instead of relying on random posts on Facebook Groups. We are working with the local businesses to ensure that their listing information is current and useful.
The project is funded by myself, Glenn and Steve, my co-founder of TheFlow.agency - a digital agency based in Devon, UK. Any money coming in via Buy Me A Coffee will go straight to the further development of this website i.e. this is a non-profit venture.
