About The Dark Sea
The Dark Sea is the solo project of Patrick Baker, he writes a unique blend of Grunge, Alternative, and Classic rock. Hailing from Nashville, The Dark Sea brings a fresh take to the genre of Rock with his brooding lyrics, big riffs, ripping guitar solos, and haunting melodies.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of influences, from Kurt Cobain, Pink Floyd, and Johnny Cash, to create a sound that is both raw and sophisticated. He likes to be sad and loud at the same time. His songs delve into themes of love, loss, and the human condition, and their haunting vocals, driving guitars, and thundering drums create a soundscape that is both powerful and unforgettable. If only he would smile once in a while.
