The Daily Reframer e-magazine is a small, independent philosophy project built around disinheriting assumptions. Through thought experiments, puzzles, prompts, and other exercises, TDR takes an engaging look the hidden assumptions underneath commonly held ideas and asks, “What could happen here if we try on a new lens for a moment…?” The project ranges from examining classic philosophical questions to reviewing more contemporary problems. We aim to take our own look at some of the most pervasive problems and apply new principles & frameworks—at times from unlikely sources—to see how useful, illuminating, and intriguing the results can get.
