I can't believe THE DAILY HAIKU is about to turn 4 years old this March. It seems just yesterday we began, as Covid lockdown hit here in the UK, with myself as the only member here in rural West Cornwall and now we are a thriving, global creative community of over 15000 members. What a glorious journey it continues to be where we have partnered with the wonderful Paper Nations to produce films, write a year's worth of blogs on The Great Margin, taken part in academic research into the Writing process, worked with wellbeing organisations such as Network of Wellbeing, supported 64million Artists and now have our own dedicated Journal LEAF, something that had been on our Wishlist for a long time but was galvanised into being by Ravi Kiran our TDH member in India.
So what next for THE DAILY HAIKU.... Well we continue to listen to our members and find out what they want. This has always been a community that is shaped by its members holistically and that is why it works. Anyone can join THE DAILY HAIKU, it is easy, accessible, free and immediately engaging whether you are a beginner writer, someone returning to writing or an experienced writer. Everyone is welcome and everyone is invited.
