Hi Chap's
I hope that you are all keeping well and are successfully navigating your way through life in these challenging times.
If you have followed my channel for any length of time, you will be well aware that I am a big fan of quality men's footwear and specifically leather dress shoes that have been manufactured in Northamptonshire in England, the undisputed capital of men's footwear.
But my enjoyment springs somewhat deeper than just the shoes, I enjoy the sport of obtaining those shoes at amazing prices from such auction platforms as Ebay. In today's video, you will see me displaying 8 pairs of brogues from my personal collection. They all look and wear great and are from such manufacturers as Loake, Grenson and Cheaney. If these were purchased at full price the resulting accumulated cost would be close to £2000 - £2500, but the truth is that these shoes cost me closer to 10% of that amount, because every single pair were purchased from Ebay, or from a factory seconds shop, where the prices were as low as £15 for a pair.
I go against the normal convention for a chap to steer away from mentioning the price of his items to try and buck the thinking that dressing well is expensive.
In fact, quite the contrary can be said for exquisite mens shoes at the moment. Due to the downturn in popularity of men's dress shoes (as we become more casual as a society), so the price of great shoes are being forced down on the pre-owned market.
I hope you enjoy the video and why not check out ebay for the amazing dress shoe bargains that await - elevate your style at a very modest price.
Stay sharp
Ash
