I wrote poetry out of puzzles for over 90 days

I called it Connections Poetry.

Some of it was good, most of it was really bad.

I did it all the same.

Sometimes art should be made just for the sake of it, that there's something that exists from inside me.

And somewhere, I completely lost sight of it. Cared more about cash and bills, about making something that people will see and touch them.

I made Connections Poetry because I was compelled to. My curiosity got the best of me. That rarely ever happens anymore.

The lesson I took from all of it? Make art just because.

I now have a record of me doing that, and that's pretty awesome.

Did I get something out of it? Not really.

Any money? Not a dime as of writing this.

I did it simply because I thought it was cool.

I believe that's what art should be about at its core.

I'm sorry I forgot that.
