King Solomon once said:

"Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise" (Proverbs 6:6).

Bruh, this invitation has little to do with the insect itself and everything to do with the habits it quietly models.. us.

Let's look at a case study of Joseph in Egypt.

While Egypt celebrated seven years of abundance, Genesis 41:46–49, Joseph prepared for seven years of famine that was to come. He purposely gathered grain consistently and remarkably until it became too numerous to measure, and like the ant, he recognized that today's plenty was God's provision to enjoy and combat for tomorrow's pressure.

Also,

These ants need not waits for an emergency before it starts working. It simply carries one grain at a time, and over time, those tiny efforts become a storehouse.. just like yours.

Life's seasons happen too.

So the ant teaches us to prepare before the need arises and plan even with what we have ( rather than what we don't have !) and to understand that consistency often accomplishes what talent alone may be oblivious to.

While seasons feel full and overflowing, others may stretch us beyond what we imagined for the habits we build today shape the strength we will need tomorrow.. every skill we develop, every wise decision we make, every act of discipline and every seed of discipline and determination we sow becomes part of our future harvest.

So today, pause for a moment and ask:

What grains am I gathering in my season of abundance?

What grains am I gathering now?

Let's go see the ant!
