Get to know Thai language alphabets through flashcards

Thai language alphabets include 44 alphabets in total. Yes, there are quite numbers of them right but

some of them are not used anymore and some of them are rarely used.

So, the numbers of Thai language alphabets that you would use it often will go down.

Let's learn Thai alphabets through this blog together and see which one are not used or rarely used to make it easier for you to remember them.

Each Thai language alphabet has the word behinds it and has its own meaning so you can learn about Thai vocabularies through them as well.

So, these are all 44 Thai language alphabets. There are 4 alphabets that are not used anymore in the present which are ฃ, ฅ, ฌ and ฆ and there are quite numbers of Thai language alphabets that are rarely used or you will not see them often such as ฆ, ฐ, ฒ and ฬ

However, for those who are new to Thai language, as a Thai language teacher to foreigners,

I recommend to start with learning Thai with romanization and aim on practising listening and speaking first.

As it is easier for beginners to begin with and useful in real life more. Once you are familiar with that, it is not too late to learn about Thai language alphabets and practice writing skill later.
