CHAO PHRAYA RIVER ALERT
The Chao Phraya Dam increased its discharge to 2,000 m³/s at noon on September 28.
People in low-lying riverside areas outside flood embankments should move belongings higher and monitor local warnings.
The main identified risk areas are parts of Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and Ayutthaya. Communities beside the Chao Phraya and Noi rivers farther downstream—including Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Bangkok and Samut Prakan—should also remain alert.
This is not a warning that every community or all of Bangkok will flood.
Follow provincial announcements and avoid entering moving floodwater.
