About Philip, The Tech Dragon

a Tech nerd, on demand.

The Tech Dragon is where 30+ years of hands-on technology experience meets practical, no-nonsense solutions.

Over the years, I’ve worked with everything from everyday computer support to servers, clusters, advanced virtualization, website infrastructure, WordPress development, WooCommerce configuration, custom code, plugin development, and general technical problem-solving.

These days, a big part of my days as Tech Dragon is helping WordPress and WooCommerce site owners get exactly the functionality they need without unnecessary complexity. That can mean a small custom code tweak, a purpose-built plugin, troubleshooting an existing site, or helping configure and improve the systems already in place.

If you’ve found my work useful, appreciated the help, or just want to help keep the Tech Dragon fueled for the next project, feel free to keep me supplied with caffeine.

So, seriously...

As a tech nerd, I acquire a whole range of skills that I take for granted as common knowledge that in reality only a true nerd would have the slightest interest in knowing. Having suffered a few catastrophic health issues lately gave me the urge to want to share my help with others along with a need to bring in some extra cash. That doesn't mean that I know everything, far from it, as Bing (being ...
