This one is going to be a bit more short and sweet, I just wanted to get some new recipes out and based on recent requests, I decided on Horchata and Horchata Salt. These recipes are the culmination of my dedication to capturing the rich, creamy, and spiced essence of traditional horchata.
The Inspiration
The idea for a horchata-inspired e-juice came to me during a nostalgic moment, reminiscing about the comforting taste of horchata drinks I enjoyed growing up. I aimed to recreate that warm, creamy, cinnamon-laced flavor, balancing sweet and spiced notes in a smooth vape.
Horchata Signature E-Juice
Horchata Signature Recipe:
Horchata (CAP): 2.75%
Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2 (CAP): 3.5%
Almond (FA): 0.5%
Holy Vanilla (DIY Flavor Shack): 2.0%
Recipe Notes:
Crafting the original Horchata was an exercise in achieving the perfect harmony of flavors. The Horchata (CAP) provides the base, rich in creamy rice and cinnamon notes. To enhance the spiciness, Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2 (CAP) was added, offering a deeper, more complex cinnamon flavor. Almond (FA) lends a subtle nutty undertone, while Holy Vanilla (DIY Flavor Shack) wraps it all together with its luxurious, smooth vanilla essence. The result is a well-rounded, comforting vape that captures the essence of traditional horchata.
Horchata Salt
Initially crafted for modified JUUL pods, Horchata Salt has found its place in various devices, particularly shining in the Caliburn. Adapted by Tom, this version tweaks the original recipe for a more harmonious blend suited to salt nicotine.

Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2 (CAP): 1.50%
Horchata (CAP): 1.20%
Shisha Vanilla (INW): 2.50%
Almond (FA): 0.50%
Cinnamon Roll (FW): 1.50%
Super Sweet (CAP): 0.75%
Recommended PG/VG: 63% VG / 37% PG

Adapting the Horchata flavor to a salt version involved fine-tuning the ingredients for a smoother, more satisfying hit in pod devices. Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2 (CAP) and Horchata (CAP) remain the backbone, but with adjusted percentages to blend better with the higher nicotine content. Shisha Vanilla (INW) and Cinnamon Roll (FW) introduce new dimensions of sweetness and spice, making the flavor more dynamic. Super Sweet (CAP) ensures the mix has a pleasant sweetness without overpowering the nuanced flavors.
