Deep Creek Retreat

These first few shots are from Deep Creek Hot Springs near Hesperia/Apple Valley, California. It is off the John Muir Trail, and the hand work on the path.. is identical along the John Muir Trail along the route up to Bridal Veil Falls in Yosemite. The hot springs in Yosemite are along the hiking paths, filled with gravel so no one can bathe. Which I always thought about, each time I'd pass the water hole filled in with gravel on purpose.
