I have done so much study of these 78 cards and yet I find so many different ways to intuitively read them.
Sometimes I sit at the cards and feel I do not know them at all. Then they start to reveal themselves in a deeper way than ever before.
This week had a particular theme in my clients questions.
The theme was about feeling stuck and wanting to get away from old relationships. People were finally coming to a conclusion that they were no longer happy and that they could not sustain the façade of being happy any longer.
They were trapped between changing their circumstances which to all of them was terrifying, or to keep staying unhappy, which was also terrifying.
It is very difficult to dig into the deepest of the issues that have taken years to manifest within relationships. Sometimes it can be an issue that can be fixed that makes a partner so unhappy , such as finances and the lack of them.
If the finances were good would the relationship be doing better? Is the stress of money issues the THING that is killing off the love?
Maybe the partnership has changed? Mine has - I now find myself being more of a carer to a husband who is in chronic pain 24/7. I am no longer a wife in the relationship. I am breadwinner, carer, massage therapist, cleaner and this has become a tiring and stressful position. Sometimes I even want to quit my 'job'.
Maybe your partner has been unfaithful?
Maybe there is a loss of trust and because of that you become suspicious of your partner?
Or maybe you have just simply grown apart and there is nothing else left that keeps you connected.
Do you venture into trying to fix any of those things or do you just accept that things have changed so much that you no longer want to continue with the the way that they are?
That is a very personal question that I had to ask each of my clients work out for themselves.
I was surprised at the different ways each though about their circumstances and where one person looked at it logically another just broke down and cried and just felt totally trapped,
Our lives are complicated.
No big decision is easy and I don't not treat it ever as being easy.
Tarot can sometimes take the problem outside of ourselves as we look at the pictures on the cards and look at the outcomes depending on how the cards fall.
If you gain NOTHING other than thinking about things differently then a tarot session has been useful.
