One of my current digital projects is SAPESUCA, the Salzburg Peritoneal Surface Calculator.
SAPESUCA is a freely accessible academic tool published in Cancers. It allows individualized estimation of the peritoneal surface area and may help quantify the resected peritoneal surface after cytoreductive surgery.
This matters because CRS and HIPEC workflows still often rely on simplified assumptions, while patient-specific surface area estimates could support more precise research questions and future individualized treatment concepts.
