The music scene is all about evolving creatively and keeping up with the market, if you're not willing to adapt, then unfortunately, you're going to be left behind. The new craze to hit the music scene is the TikTok performance trend. A lot of musicians have decided to throw out their playlists and are performing TikTok trends for their audience, and it has seen a huge rise in ticket sales around the globe.

Last night American country sensation Phil MaTank Wediesel performed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to a sold out audience. The singer songwriter who usually performs his hit classics such as 'Don't Need No Iron For My Shirt, I Ain't Wearing One' and 'If Roses Ever Grow In Tennessee, I'll Pay Someone To Pick Them For You' decided to give the crowd something a bit more modern. From start to finish, the Nashville native performed TikTok trends that delighted a hometown audience for a record breaking three and a half minutes. Phil took to his Instragram story after the show saying

''WOW!! What a show. Soon as I hit the 3 minute mark I honestly thought I was losing the crowds attention, but to get a chant for an encore, I am truly blessed. I have the greatest fans in the world''

Phil started off the show with an incredible 30 second personal growth journey, he then followed it up with some Get Ready With Me content. For his encore the daring country megastar completely blew the audience away with the reemergence of The Harlem Shake.

''I took a huge risk with it, I honestly didn't know how it was going to go down, but I didn't get into this game to play it safe. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, I'm just so thankful to my lord and savior that I have the best fans in the world''

Not everyone on the music scene has perfected the sudden change in the tide. Two weeks ago Neil Young opened his show in Montreal with his own rendition of The Louis Theroux Rap. This performance from Neil Young has sent shock waves through the TikTok community. We reached out to a few fans who were at the show, everyone of them replied with a reaction video. On one of the thousands of reaction videos we received a fan mentions

''He was so old and gross looking and worst of all, he wasn't even miming. I completely lost interest 15 seconds into his set''

The Glastonbury festival is just weeks away and with headlining acts such as SZA and Dua Lipa, we're sure to see some incredible TikTok trends taking place. But one band that has taking all the festive cheer away from one of musics hottest events, is 90s rock band Pulp. The indie veterans were set to take to the stage on the Saturday, but have refused to add any TikTok trends to their act. Lead singer Jarvis Cocker made a controversial statement claiming ''I don't even have a TikTok account''. With all the negative press surrounding the situation, the event organisers have released a statement of their own.

''Glastonbury will not tolerate this kind of behaviour from any of our acts, and therefore we regret to say that Pulp have been striped from our line up. They will be replaced by YouTube sensation SSSniperWolf''
