The new story on my substack is about a B-24 from the 464th BG which was shot down on one of the early missions to Blechhammer.
There are two part to this story - the first part is about the events on August 7th, 1944, and shortly after the war, and the next part - published on Nov 8 - will be about the research we did with family of the co-pilot. It is a story in itself. Thank you, John Ryan!
