This HDRI places you in the heart of a vast Egyptian desert, surrounded by the silent majesty of ancient stone and endless sand. 🏜️
Under a clear, vivid sky, towering pyramids rise from the warm dunes, their silhouettes sharp against the sunlit horizon.
Nearby, the Sphinx watches over the desert with its timeless, unmoving gaze, while weathered obelisks and stone statues stand scattered across the landscape like echoes of a long-forgotten empire. 🗿✨
The air feels dry and still, the bright daylight revealing every crack, engraving, and grain of sand—creating a crisp, warm atmosphere perfect for showcasing desert materials and ancient structures. 🌞
Ideal for Egyptian ruins, archaeological explorations, desert expeditions, or any scene that calls for a sense of history, sunlight, and vast open silence. 🌅
This HDRI was created for Blender, but it should work perfectly in other 3D software as well. 🧊
The resolution is 24576 × 12288, and it comes with three versions:
1️⃣ Synch HDRI 010『Daylight Over Forgotten Monuments』Bottom No Blur.exr
(871 MB)
2️⃣ Synch HDRI 010『Daylight Over Forgotten Monuments』Bottom Slight Blur.exr
(1.50 GB)
3️⃣ Synch HDRI 010『Daylight Over Forgotten Monuments』Bottom Full Blur.exr
(1.48 GB)
🌅 The difference between each version lies in how much blur is applied below the horizon.
💭 You might be wondering — why offer versions with a blurred bottom at all?
That’s because in most scenes, you’ll probably cover the ground with a separate plane anyway.
However, when the lower part of the HDRI remains sharp and visible before you add that plane, it can sometimes feel a bit distracting or cluttered. 🌨️
🎨 Personally, I like to switch between them depending on the scene —
sometimes I enjoy the slightly blurred version, other times the sharp one,
and occasionally, I go for the fully blurred look.
Since everyone has different preferences, I decided to provide all three versions so you can choose what suits your scene best. ☺️✨
