Synch HDRI 003『Night of the Tempest』 is perfect for stormy nights, dramatic environments, or intense weather scenes.🌩️🌊
It captures the raw power of a furious storm — dark clouds, raging waves crashing like tsunamis, lightning cutting through the sky, and howling winds that fill the night with tension. ⚡🌑
The ominous clouds and turbulent sea create a truly electrifying and foreboding atmosphere, perfect for adding drama and suspense to your renders.
Not a fan of coastal scenes, even though you love the sky and lightning? 🌃
Don’t worry! In Blender, you can adjust the Z position in the Mapping Node of the Shader Editor to hide the sea and waves below the horizon.
This way, the HDRI isn’t limited to stormy coastlines — you can use it for cityscapes, landscapes, or any other scene. 🌆🏔️
So whether you want it for coastal environments or far beyond the shoreline, you have the flexibility to use it however you like. Isn’t it great to have the choice? 😎✨

This HDRI was created for Blender, but it should work perfectly in other 3D software as well. 🧊
The resolution is 24576 × 12288, and it comes with three versions:
1️⃣ Synch HDRI 003 『Night of the Tempest』 Bottom No Blur.exr (264 MB)
2️⃣ Synch HDRI 003 『Night of the Tempest』 Bottom Slight Blur.exr (410 MB)
3️⃣ Synch HDRI 003 『Night of the Tempest』 Bottom Full Blur.exr (422 MB)
🌅 The difference between each version lies in how much blur is applied below the horizon.
💭 You might be wondering — why offer versions with a blurred bottom at all?
That’s because in most scenes, you’ll probably cover the ground with a separate plane anyway.
However, when the lower part of the HDRI remains sharp and visible before you add that plane, it can sometimes feel a bit distracting or cluttered. 🌨️
🎨 Personally, I like to switch between them depending on the scene —
sometimes I enjoy the slightly blurred version, other times the sharp one,
and occasionally, I go for the fully blurred look.
Since everyone has different preferences, I decided to provide all three versions so you can choose what suits your scene best. ☺️✨
