Hi there,

I'm Sylvie (well, actually Sylvia—but Sylvie is my nickname/more French-sounding alias!).

Since 2019, I've been performing in, writing, and producing my own shows. My first self-produced Fringe show was Françoise and Friends, a tribute to my favorite yé-yé artist, Françoise Hardy, and her "friends" (or contemporaries of the yé-yé genre—hence my desire to sound a little more French!).

Since then, I've become somewhat addicted to the taxing yet incredibly rewarding feat of putting on Fringe shows and sharing my (admittedly niche) passion for artists like Françoise with equally passionate audiences like you.

After F & F, I brought the music of Rickie Lee Jones to life in We Belong(ed) Together (2021), celebrated Leonard Cohen in If It Be Your Will (2023) and now Sincerely, L. Cohen (2024), and revisited more of Françoise's contemporaries in Yé-Yé, Yeah! (2024).

So, why buy me a coffee? Well, putting on high-quality Fringe shows isn’t cheap! While I’ve always managed to break even, I rarely make a profit—and any profit I do make goes straight into funding my next show.
