Can you believe we have 2.5 months to the end of the year?
I had so many travel plans for this year, haha!
In my birthday post, I wrote:
And in 2022 I have a goal to go to four countries I haven't been to yet, to live unique experiences. What I want to do this year is:
To see the northern lights in Norway -- already done! Loved it!
To fly high in hot air balloons over Cappadocia, Turkey
To relax on a beach and kayaking during the sunset, in Greece
To dare to dive with the sharks in South Africa
And, guess what, just the first one I did in January was concluded!
The year was intense, I'm close to finishing my Ph.D., and the work has been quite high.
I had to find a job and, oh boy, applications are a looot of work!
But I managed! I'm a Software Engineer for SynSense! Working 50% until December because I still need to finish the Ph.D.
But honestly, although I didn't manage to go to the places I thought I would, I've been to some countries!
I've been to Malta, where I beached myself a lot! -> that was a first for me!
I've been to Ireland, and so much fun, but not my first time. But Cliffs of Moher! Wow!
And I've been to the Netherlands, not Amsterdam, but Groningen. What a cute little city! I loved it.
I don't believe I will do any big trips this year still. The goal now is really to finish the Ph.D.
