At this moment we have a rented server, in the past weeks we had bigger and bigger server loads and we need to make some upgrades. Also they announced a new price increase for their service. The best solution for long term is to have our own server and colocate it.
Current hardware specs (~90 eur per month):
CPU : Intel Xeon-E 2136 - 6c/12t - 13443 CPU performance
Memory : 32 GB DDR4
Storage : 2x12 NVMe disks
We asked some local hardware providers for some offers and we got a very good one, the server cost is 1000EUR and it has the following specs:
CPU : 2 x Intel Xeon E5-2699 v3 - 34696 CPU performance
Memory : 64 GB DDR4
Storage : 2x12 NVMe disks
Also colocation service is only 30EUR per month.
